San Angelo ISD, San Angelo Chamber of Commerce to Hold Ribbon Cutting for Blackshear Learning Center

San Angelo ISD is hosting a special ribbon cutting ceremony, in collaboration with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, for our Blackshear Learning Center. 

San Angelo ISD is revitalizing the Blackshear campus to house its PAYS and Tiny Texans program. PAYS is an academic alternative school providing students the opportunity to accrue credits to progress to graduation. PAYS students are non-traditional students motivated to complete their high school diploma but are enduring extenuating circumstances that pose as obstacles to their academic success. Tiny Texans is a staff and student early childcare center. 

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 1:00pm at 2223 Brown Street. Light refreshments will be served.
