The San Angelo READS! Summer Book Patrol rolled out across San Angelo on June 4, bringing books, smiles and summer fun directly to students’ doorsteps. In a one-day delivery event, San Angelo ISD administrators, principals, educators and staff hand-delivered more than 160 books, bags of activities, snacks and balloons to 24 students and their 41 siblings.
San Angelo ISD is in the process of transitioning to a new Student Information System, PowerSchool, to better support our students, families, and staff. A Student Information System is the platform we use to manage things like student registration, attendance, and academic records. This upgrade will help improve the overall experience for families when accessing or updating student information
Parents and guardians can access their students’ preliminary STAAR results through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) STAAR assessment family portal (accessible through HAC) and also find specific resources to support learning at home.
Future-ready begins here – and we're here to support every step of the way! We understand that starting kindergarten is a big change and an important step in a student’s academic journey. That’s why we’re excited to offer our incoming kindergarten students an opportunity to “jump start” their elementary experience.
There are a number of free, enriching summer learning resources and program opportunities available for our students of all ages throughout June and July. We invite students to participate in any of the resources, programs and camps.
This summer, San Angelo ISD is offering a wide range of sports camps designed to help students sharpen their skills, build confidence, and stay active during the break.
